Day One

It went fairly well today. I changed this week around a little due to a church event I attended Monday. Instead of my break being Wednsday I made it Monday during the church event. Then I made Wednsday my legs day, but back to today. Today I did Chest, my workout was: incline bench press, dumbell flat bench, dumbell pullovers, dumbell flys, and weighted crunches. All of them were 4 sets and 8-12 reps except for weighted crunches which were 3 sets of 8-10 reps.
Also I have some important tips. The first is to always stretch before lifting if not it can result in a pulled muscle and sometimes worse. The second is to breathe in when you go down and breathe out when you go up in any lift. If not you could pass out or get very dizzy and light headed. The third is not to touch your chest on bench, but go down until the bar is about an inch off your chest. Also keep your elbows in, because when they are out it tear your shoulder up. That is about all I have for today. If you have any questions please comment.

Introduction

My name is Brandon, I created this blog to keep up with my lifting schedule. I also hope to encourage others to lift more and become fit for life. I started lifting because of sports. I played football and wrestled. When I first started I was about 120 pounds and 5'10". After a year and a half of total dedication I am now weigh 155 and 6 foot. Now I love lifting more than both of those sports. Fitness is truly for life. If you truly want to gain muscle you have to be dedicated. Its not just about lifting or the way you eat, its a complete life style.
